The 10 Best Christian Gift Ideas For Your Tween Girl
So you’ve got a special tween girl in your life too?? Awesome!
Since you’re here I am betting you long to see her growing in her faith 🙂
Maybe you’ve noticed the things about her faith she’s processing on her own?
Or you hear the good questions she’s coming up with?
Perhaps you are looking for ways to embrace her independent spirit that’s growing and taking form?
Tween girls (ages 8-12) need help to learn how to continually redirect their hearts towards the Lord. We’ve found gift giving to be a beautiful opportunity to do just that. Encourage her in her walk by giving gifts that are fun, ones will build her up and most importantly help her focus on truth!
Christian Books, Art, Bible Journaling Supplies, Music, Jewelry, Fashion, and Accessories can be fun ways to help them invite the Lord into all aspects of their lives!
Because I know first hand that this age can be tough to navigate, we are always on the lookout for resources that encourage our girls so we can share them with you too!
We’ve discussed it among the Tweens we know and came up with a few gift ideas to share with you for Birthday’s, Christmas, Holidays or any special occasion!
Today We Are Rounding Up The 10 Best Christian Gift Ideas For Your Tween Girl!
The list is in no particular order 🙂
1. God’s Little Princess Devotional Bible by Sheila Walsh
We’ve used this devotional Bible with our girls between the of ages 4-11. It has a lot of fun ideas included from role play to crafts.
The best thing? The interactive part of this devotional makes it really memorable for the girls!
2. Secret Keeper Girl Books by Dannah Gresh
Ok, a disclaimer. The It’s Great to Be a Girl book and Mother-Daughter Devo was a recommendation from our girls to yours, but I have to sneak in the Mom books for our list as well 🙂 These have been a huge blessing to us! Seriously game changers.
3. Bible Belles Books ” The Adventures of Rooney Cruz” by Erin Weidemann
These books are geared towards girls ages 4-10. Biblical stories mixed with relate-able application and great illustrations = a big win! Our girls enjoyed these so much I joined their launch team for Abigail. You can read my review here!
What better gift to give your girl than teaching her how to dig into God’s word! As a bonus, there are lots of ways to make this special and fun! We’ve done our Bible Art Journaling through the Fruits of the Spirit on the Journaling pages I created for our FREE Tween eCourse. We’ve also used the TRUST IN THE LORD BIBLE JOURNALING KIT with our girls which they loved! You can read more about that here. It’s a great option if your girl is into Bible Art Journaling.
And, if you are new to the idea of Bible Journaling, here’s some help!
There are a variety of Bibles, Pens, Colored Pencils and Journals to choose from! Any combination of these would make an awesome gift.
Here is an illustration done for you Bible – just study and color!
This option from Move the Mountains Shop has the blank margins if they want to draw or write themselves!
If you want to go with the best of the best, you’ll want the Dayspring Illustrating Bible specifically designed for Bible Journaling. You can find out more about it here or below!
You could also shop Dayspring for any of the illustrated faith Bible Journaling supplies, monthly kits or gift sets. You really can’t go wrong with the illustrated faith tools! Find out more below!
5. Tools to Help Make Quiet Time Special (Decorative Bible, Bible Case etc)
If they aren’t into Bible Journaling but you want to help make their time with God special, don’t worry! We’ve got your back. We have and love this (Girly for sure) Bible with handle. Our other daughter has a cute Bible carrying case like this one!
But what our girls have been super excited about lately is the Let’s Go Collection by my friend Angie of Gathered & Sown. Any of these handmade leather Bible Covers, Prayer Journals, Travelers Notebooks or the Bible Journaling Tote Kit would be a huge win in your tween girl’s world! Not to mention this adorable Leather Mini Backpack– wink!
A traditional charm bracelet or one with a twist pictured below. Even today there is still something fun about charm bracelets 🙂 This one is on Amazon, but Etsy and Instagram would be great places to check as well because there are so many different styles to choose from!
One of our daughter’s favorite pieces of jewelry is her simple, but beautiful, cross necklace. It is just a nice reminder to talk to Jesus and that He is with you through the day!
Girls love keychains right? We have them hanging on backpacks, purses, in their rooms etc! Grab the little clip cross type keychains or pick up a gorgeous Leather Tassel Custom Keychain and support a Christian Handmade Shop I mentioned called Gathered and Sown!
9. Music Music Music!
It was SO incredibly hard to narrow down all the choices in music to mention only one! You know your daughter, so pick what she likes or surprise her with something new! So many to choose from! You can check out our list in the Ultimate Tween Girl Resource Kit for ideas. A go-to of each of our girls at different stages (looking at awesome lyrics and fun factor of course!) has been One Girl Nation! their Christmas CD is pretty great as well!
