I’m so glad you are joining me 🙂 If you’re looking for a new, easy, green & fruit smoothie recipe, then you are in the right place! Over the last couple of years we have been trying different things and tweaking our smoothies to get the best result. Now I would love to share with you what we have come up with as our go-to breakfast smoothie!

But first,

A TOTAL disclaimer must be added here. ⇓

There is one thing (yes only one) that I am consistent about when it comes to eating healthy. When I say consistent I mean day in and day out – over the last couple of years. Unless, the circumstance is extreme, this recipe (or a slight variation of this recipe) is what I have for breakfast. I “try” to work in eating better in other areas, but it varies – a lot. I just don’t want to create a picture that I have it all anything together in this area of eating healthy!

OK, so now on to the good stuff!

Easy Nutribullet Green and Fruit Smoothie Recipe


◊ We use the large Nutribullet Cup. If its for the kids, we go with the little one

  • 1 small handful of baby carrots
  • 1-2 handfuls of spinach
  • 14 red grapes
  • 1 Banana any size
  • 1/2 – 1 cup FROZEN mixed fruit – ours is peach, pineapple, strawberry & mango.
  • 1 small handful of almonds.
  • Drizzle of honey
  • Dash of cinnamon
  • 3 TSB of Pomegranate Juice
  • 1/3 cup of Milk
  • Fill to just below the MAX line with water


Place your lid on, blend for approx 30-45 seconds and YUM!


At times, we have also added extras like Flax, chia seeds, oats, spirulina, goji berries and maca powder but the recipe above is the most common and easiest on the budget! You could also swap out for different frozen fruit or stick with the mixed fruit and add one small slice of orange, or a cutie to create more of a citrus flavor.

Side Tip: I make ours mostly the night before and store in the fridge so in the morning (when everyone is coming at me) I only have to add frozen fruit and liquids and blend!

Nutribullet does have some really great recipes that come with the machine. But, since we didn’t always have the budget to keep the various ingredients on hand to make each recipe,  we came up with “our own standard” 🙂

Because we’re sharing our recipe today and our kids have also come up with a recipe that they enjoy, we decided to compile our favorites into a handy PDF printable for you below!
